At most, there will be 15,000 people in a 100,000 capacity stadium. They should move this card somewhere else.

I'm not so sure I like this idea of calling it Mexico vs Phillipines. I think it'd be better if they called Mexico and Phillipines. When you throw the versus in there it limits the opposition available for the fighters. It means Marquez will only be able to fight a Filipino and Donaire will only be able to fight a Mexican. That's silly considering there is no known Filipino fighter at 135-140! Donaire would have more options because he's at a lower weightclass (where both Mexicans and Filipinos thrive), but I think we'd all love to see him fight Noshioka instead.

I'd love to see Marquez vs Rios and Donaire vs Noshioka and call it whatever the hell they want!

Terrible choice of opponent. I think Team Donaire lost a lot of the confidence of their fighter after the last performance against Vazquez Jr.!

Gesta is disgusting if it actually goes down. He'll get his ass beat so bad.... I don't think he can beat any of the belt holders either.
I like the idea of Gamboa/Rios though. Give the opportunity to pass the torch... but they can only take it if they're worthy.

If I was Gesta, I would take the fight. Losing won't affect his stock anyway. I don't think Gesta is good enough to beat JMM, Rios, Miguel Vazquez, Demarco or Linares at the moment. But this is his chance at the big time.
