I hope Carlos Maussa knocks the hell out of Ricky (probably wont happen). Ricky is overrated. He is a fighter with a 39-0 record with 2 names on it Kostya, and Vince Phillips, which were both at the end of there careers. The other 37 names are nobodies. Ricky is a talented inside fighter, but when faced with an outside laterally moving fighter he's in trouble.

He might very well have some problems against a slick fighter like Mayweather, but the same can be said about a lot of fighters. Most fighters will have difficulties with guys who are nonstop pressure like that.

I don't see Hatton going on to beat Mayweather, but he will beat Maussa in this upcoming fight, and he can probably beat Cotto, just because Cotto doesn't seem to be able to keep from trading.

Man, after watching Ricky take huge bombs to get through Kostya's range, I don't think anyone can beat Hatton's nut hugging style. He's going to get all over Massua's nuts until the man can't move any longer and quits on his stool in the 11th round.

Maussa ....quit on his stool....that is less likley to happen then maussa winning by knockout in the first round. If anything maussa will get disqualified before he quits. Maussa does have a chance, hes a very rough fighter and an "accidental" headbutt could do some serious damage to hatton, or say theoretically that maussa slips and elbows the back of hattons spine on accident....really im tired and lost train of thought.....Hatton by KO but don't count maussa out, hes a tough guy.... **** DONT READ THAT PARAGRAPH....argh Maussa will NOT quit on his stool is the point i was trying to make....

                What a brilliant thread.

You're not cheering for him, or betting on him... Hell you don't think he'll win...

                But hey, it IS possible.

                Thanks tips.

carlos size and hurky jerky style could give hatton fits for a while.hattons paper thin skin hasn't been a factor lately but could be.

i see hatton getting to him in the midrounds.

mayweathers going to be watching this one closely.

maussa has an awkward style, I think he might even confuse the straight-ahead Hatton with his herki jerki movements, and the guy has some pop too. Lets not forget he laid the smack down on Vicious Vivian...

Vivian was gone from exhaustion at least 3 rounds before the knockdown came. He was in terrible condition coming into the fight and the Ko punch wasn't exactly a bone jarring shot
