Tim is a good fighter, but as yet I will pass on the notion that he could beat Hatton in his prime as nothing I have seen from him and nothing he has achieved so far comes close as an indicator.
Sorry but I don't see where Hatton has greater hand speed than Bradley, I just don't. I said Hatton had good speed, but Bradley's hand speed > Hatton's hand speed to me. We can agree to disagree.

However Bradley has never beat anyone as good as a prime Hatton that's not debatable....
An old Kostas Tzuyu beats Bradley easy. So Hatton beats him too!

I like Bradley too, but what is his signature win (Peterson?). Fighting Pacquiao is a tough ask, gauging him against Khan would have been better. It's a shame he didn't take that bout with Amir because I think he's going to get iced v Pacquiao. The step up is huge in my opinion.

Hey Weebler, who you got in a Khan vs. Hatton fight at 140, during Ricky's prime and unbeaten years (2001-2007)????
Before Maidana/Peterson I would've said it was a close fight, but he struggled with their styles and Hatton was significantly better than those two. I don't see how Amir could keep Ricky off him*

*well maybe if Cortez was in there

Bradley by late KO. Hatton will get frustrated in the later rounds and their is where he will make mistakes and Bradley will counter. I would write alittle bit more on this but that pretty much sums it up.

Agree. I got Hatton by a late TKO against Khan. Hatton made his opponents fight on the inside, and Khan has a non-existant inside game.

I think Hatton beats Maidana, Alexander, Peterson, Ortiz, and Khan at 140 lbs, and probably at 147 as well. Bradley would be his toughest fight, and Hatton at 140 would be Bradley's toughest fight, with the exception of Pacquiao right now.

The handspeed thing is debatable. I've watched both fighters live. But, Bradley has an educated footwork, you know what I mean.

and Tim is light on his feet as well( both guys are)except Ricky is just a straight up tank. He goes in one direction, and once he gets in that's when he uses his pivots. But, against Bradley I just don't think it's gonna be that easy to just go straight in and start pounding away.

Tim is a bit of a slickster, knows how to get out of the way.

No one will agree on this, it's just fans vs. fans,

Ali v Tyson who wins? Same thing again!

Ricky Hatton ducked Witter. He also could have took a fight against Judah or Sharmba Mitchell. I also think this current form of Tim Bradley beats the Tszyu that Hatton fought. Look at his fights with Juan Lazcano and Paulie. I would say Hatton was overhyped.

Close call, but I tend to think Hatton would fade late and Bradley would edge it. My opinion might change tomorrow.
