Chisora now to be charged over Haye brawl

According to Eurosport, Chisora will be charged if he returns to Germany.

German police will press charges against Dereck Chisora after an ugly brawl with fellow British heavyweight boxer David Haye following a WBC title clash in Munich on Saturday night.

Saturday's incident, which left Haye's manager Adam Booth with nasty facial cuts, erupted during a news conference after Ukrainian Vitali Klitschko had retained his WBC heavyweight belt with a unanimous points decision over Chisora. Haye attended the fight as a television pundit.

Chisora was later released, but Bavarian police spokesman Gottfried Schlicht confirmed that the boxer will face charges after being arrested and questioned shortly before he had been due to depart from the airport.

"The police are pressing charges against Chisora for bodily injury but that is not a reason for him to stay in prison," Schlicht said half about half an hour after the boxer had been released from custody.

Police did not know Haye's whereabouts.

Chisora while not classy atleast has balls and gave Vitali a hard and clean fight.

Haye is just a fraud who talks garbage that he cant back up in a ring, after he ripped off the UK public and killed Sky Box Office (charging $15 quid for Fraudley vs Haye and another 15$ for Wlad fight Sky Box Office said no more). It doesn't make sense to charge Chisora and not Haye, when the injuries were caused by Haye using a bottle and later a tripod.

IDK if this has to do with the fact that Chisora is an active boxer while Haye is officially "retired" and that's why this charges against Chisora could be presented. As you know, boxers can't fight like this against regular people because their fists are considered in many places as weapons.

To be charged with that someone must have pressed charges. It wasn't Haye because the police don't know where he is.

Chisora is raving lunatic that cant be trusted and its self explaining really why someone would felt threatened and throw the first punch when he comes at you like he was takeing of his shirt and having his crew of intimidating people behind him.

And look what happent after haye defended himself, his whole crew attacked haye like f.... wild dogs .

Haye reacted on the most basic human instinct there is, Fight or Flight and only a person as dumb as Chisora will not see the reason for why haye neutralized him.

It was chisora that walked up to haye while given all indications that he meant to harm him and therefore he is the reason why the fight broke out.

If it was haye that had walked up to chisora and slamed his forhead into his skull David would be to blame if chisora had punched him.
