Its because he wants to count that bull**** victory over lara as a win and move on. He probably still thinks he won the first martinez fight but he can't question that he got KTFO the second time so he sees that as the only fight he has to avenge.

he won't go anywhere near Lara which is a disgrace as far as I'm concerned. I hope Sergio doesn't give him the 3rd fight unless he actually beats Lara & convincingly too.

Anyway... He lost to Martinez before getting a gift against Lara. Plus Martinez is the bigger pay day, obviously.
