I just don't get why it is such a serious issue. I haven't watched boxing for long but I don't think Morales/Barrera, Tyson/Everyone, Mayweather/Ortiz, Mayorga/Everyone ever got their license revoked... Maybe because those were pre-fight fights? Or maybe because Haye TECHNICALLY isn't a boxer and would be considered just a citizen. A boxer fighting with a normal guy is obviously a big no-no.

Tyson had a few suspensions and huge fines but thats the US

Doubt it'll be a lifetime ban. Quite frankly it'd be sad if it was cause Margarito only got a year suspension for plaster. Also if you ask me the kind of judging that happened in TX last night is a bigger black eye on boxing than idiots having a post fight brawl.
