Don't feel bad for Campillo because he didn't ensure a win by going for the KO.
He's going to get a rematch and then get KTFO by Cloud who won't underestimate him this time. Campillo won the majority of rounds by boxing beautifully but he never had Cloud hurt and Campillo had opportunities to try to accomplish that but decided not too. He should have known after getting robbed in his previous fight that he has to do better. Also I felt like the ref saved his behind from getting starched when Cloud had him on the ropes.
So lets see a rematch in a couple months time.

113-113. You had it a draw. I honestly think you're giving Cloud way too much credit by giving him the championship rds, but whatever. At least you had it a draw, one of the judges had it a blowout in Cloud's favor, that is ****in bull****.
Ya, I really disagreed on the 116-110...but i can accept 114-112 for either fighter...Like i said in the earlier post, championship rounds have always been crucial. Campillo played it to safe and did more celebrating each round instead of taking it to cloud, He had all the tools and momentum to get the job done but chose to put in the judges hands...Campillo has no killer instinct and it costed him..

            Because he didnt KO him?

How about the fact that he completely outboxed and and he had him hurt? Fighters can only win by KO or something? Cmon get your head outta your ass and stop nut hugging Cloud for some odd reason. He str8 up lost, just admit it without coming up for why the robbery was justified.

He did the showboating in the 11th and 12th.

              He had the job done.

You know if he hadn't clowned around and won without question that couple of rounds at the end he would have gotten a draw with these score cards. However this time he won 10 rounds out of 12. I don't know about you but to me that STILL is a robbery.

And in my opinion, the IBF is the most honorable of the sanctioning bodies, and that is probably what they will do when they respond to Sampson's appeal..........
They could theoretically award the belt to Campillo for whatever that's worth. Just like the WBC did with Hopkins-Dawson, even though the commission still had Dawson as an official winner at the time. Of course I don't know what their bylaws state on the subject if anything, but ABCs are known to ignore their bylaws when it's convenient, anyhow. True, the commission has the power to decide what ends up on boxrec, but the IBF controls its title and the implications of holding it, for what that's worth. I don't think a rematch is an adequate remedy here. Campillo already spent 2 years trying to get his career back on track after he even more comprehensively beat up Beibut Shumenov but was robbed of that victory and his alphabet title. I think he deserved what he got with Murat, but by right he ought to hold 2 alphabet titles now and be the CLEAR #1 contender for the Dawson-Hopkins winner. He shouldn't have to mess around with Cloud again in the mean time. It wasn't a close enough fight for a rematch to be necessary. There's nothing left to prove except whether he's the next real champion in the division or not.

that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Last time I checked you can win a boxing match without scoring a KO.

The man in your avatar got his ass dropped twice and still dominated the fight. You don't even know what the fuck you're talking about.

Noob comment. He didn't get the KO so he deserved to lose? What happened to landing punches and scoring points?
