Haye had no choice but to strike first. I question how many real fights some of you have been in. Haye knows Chisora has no problem making the first move especially after seeing him slap Vitali and spit water in Wlad's face. With Chisora walking up to his face he knew he was ready to strike so why wait for him to strike you first when you can strike him first? That's the mind-set of people who grow up fighting.

Haye 'bottled him" you can see the bottle in the pic when he punched Chisora, how does it work?

Haye was holding the neck of the bottle and it shattered, did he punch him with his fist and the bottle shattered in his hand or did he hit him with the body of the bottle extending below his fist and the bottle shattered on his face?

He didn't hit him with the bottle, its just that it was in his hand as he threw the punch.

I can't understand why Haye would hit Chisora first, truth be told I would stab him if he approached me. He is an unstable thug and unlike Haye I lack the means to hurt him with my bare hands.

Well that's nice.

I like Haye, I can understand why some are tired of him but imo he is good guy and a talented boxer.

However, he gatecrashed the press conference which had nothing to do with him, drew attention to himself and then jumped the gun in punching Chisora (with a bottle). On this occasion he has no one to blame but himself.

I can agree with you so far as saying he gatecrashed the press conference but I don't think he jumped the gun in punching Chisora. Moments before the fight broke out Chisora said he was going to slap Haye twice, his previous actions show that he would do just that. He then walked over to Haye which depending on how Haye perceived things will amount to assault ( causing the victim to apprehend the immediate application of unlawful force) so when he punched Chisora he was acting in self defence.
