Nah. It's a Mickey Mouse version of the WBA belt that Ward has. Kessler fights for the WBO belt against Stieglitz in April.


I must say I was dissapointed with the end. Magee landed a good bodyshot and Markussen was screaming in pain and was counted out on his knee.

Ah, I thought Kessler was fighting for the WBA but you're right.

Do you think Magee is intentionally trying to build up his name in Denmark or it's just that he happens to have fought there because Danish opposition offered the best purses?

I think Magee went to Denmark because of the payday. I dont think it's part of a late career plan for Magee. But Magee is wellknown and popular over here, but there's it would be a major surprise if he somehow gets a Kessler-fight. I could see a return against Larsen late in the year perhaps.
