Fights Where Superior Chin Won The Day

Name your favorite fights in which a fighter's superior chin overcame superior skill and/or a bad start to win the day. Here are a couple.

    (Hagler/Hearns ) (Foreman/Moorer) (Froch/Taylor).....

    what are some more?

David Haye vs Carl Thompson was a pretty good one. Haye threw everything at Thompson and gassed out.

Mayweather vs Mosley??? Mosley outclassed floyd and almost knocked him out in less than 2 rounds. If it wasnt for his chin and luck in that round he would have lost in embarassing fashion.

        Cotto/Margarioto 1

Cotto threw everything at Margo and Tony just shook it off

Pretty much every fight since the dawn of time that ended in a knockout.

            Chavez vs Taylor

Taylor was dominating the fight and landing heavy shots but JCC had a granite beard, meanwhile Chavez wasn't landing as many shots as Taylor but his punches were having a bigger effect

In the End Meldricks chin could'nt take anymore and Chavez' could

Actually, his chin could take more, you must've missed the part where he got up on "six".

                His body was fucked, though.

The point remains. Chavez reached the final bell in a state deemed fit enough to continue. Taylor didn't and a lot of that had to do with how well they could take the punches

Taylors downward spiral after this fight says it all
