My guess is Pascal wants an easy fight then rematch Dawson.

He didn't turn down Cloud. Don King just wouldn't budge off of his request for options, and GYM said that was a no go.

Provide me proof of that.

The only people who ever said anything about "options" was team Pascal. They said "nope, fight is dead king wants options" but it was never once confirmed.

Sillakh is a fantastic talent & IMO the only 1 that, eventually, that may step up & box him is Dawson...hokins, pascal, etc, never & Cloud is IBF so it won't happen...but eventually he'll b champion...

Disappointed in Pascal, why agree to fight Sillakh and then back out? The WBC should make Sillakh the mandatory, I think Hopkins is gonna beat Dawson then vacate the belt and let Sillakh fight somebody else for it.

Is this a surprise. Pascal simply isn't an elite fighter. Lost to Froch, lost twice to Hopkins and caught Dawson on a fluke night. Sillakh would of whipped his ass too.

Russian cruiserweight Gregory Drozd is surprised that WBO middleweight champion Dmitry Pirog is not interested in fighting Gennady Golovkin, the WBA's "regular" champion at 160-pounds. Drozd, a rising cruiserweight, is good friends with both fighters. He knows Pirog well, due to their Russian roots, and he was stablemates with Golovkin when both boxers were promoted by Universum.
