The junior welterweight clash between Mike “The Silent Assassin” Dallas Jr. and Miguel “Silky Smooth” Gonzalez was switched to main event status on ten days notice after an IBF eliminator between John Molina Jr. and Marvin Quintero was called off. The bout will be the first ever boxing event held at University of Texas at Arlington’s brand new 6,200-seat College Park Center, which opened its doors this past December and air on ESPN “Friday Night Fights.”
