BoxingScene.com has been advised that Jessie Vargas (17-0) will face Lanardo Tyner (25-6) in the main event of Showtime's February 24th ShoBox card. Deandre Latimore (22-3) will face Ryan Davis (23-9) in the televised co-feature. The fights take place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Vargas more than likely will not be on Floyd's Undercard

One reason is he's fighting a guy trained sometime by Floyd Sr.and is a Road Warrior that's small in statue but big in heart. If this kid don't shorten his shots up he's going home early. He has talent but not world class like he thinks. In fact he struggled in his last fight against a sub par fighter. He does have size and youth on his side but I still need to see more development which he has failed thus far.
