Now, i still think he'll beat ishida, but i dont think he will ever be a real threat at 154 again. If he looks crappy vs this guy, he'll definitely be at gatekeeper status.

    100% on the downside

he even talks like a shot fighter

he's talking about retirement with a serious slur

paul is next to done. he's been taking bombs in victory and defeat now for years and it has caught up with him.

he might beat ishida, and there are a few guys at 154 that he might still trouble, but his run as a top flight fighter is done. he'll end up taking another beating sooner than later

It also doesnt mean its not.

      Hes only looked worse.

He didnt look great against Cintron either...

He straight up lost the Lara fight and took a ridiculous amount of shots... I remember Roy specifically saying, these are the kinds of fights that take years off a fighters prime.

The Cintron fight was no indicator of anything because he came out with a different strategy one he is not accustomed to and nothing at all really happened in the fight until its conclusion.

We are really just going to have to wait and see how he looks, it was a pounding he took against Lara, certain types of fighters can make other types look very bad you know that.

He wont beat any top dogs at 154-60.

You're missing the point. His style does not allow for a long career. He's on his way out, there's no hypotheticals. If he beats so and so.....

If pwill kos this guy and beats a recognized beast at 154-60, ill eat my arm.

Cuz he's not dumb enuff to buy a jet. But he has much more sound business investments than politics and rap record labels.

He wont be doing a lot of public speaking engagements, thats for sure.

it will only be because he cannot take punches any longer and his health is compromised.

in his prime williams could take bombs. he could take ishida's punches all night.

ishida sucks, with all respect to the guy.

kirkland looked drained of weight, poorly trained, unfocused, and i do think he could have continued and perhaps turned the fight around

ishidia didnt do anything spectacular via tremendous talent or skill. kirkland looked awful. he's easy to hit. his chin is not spectacular. and he looked as bad as he's ever looked.

williams, as shot as he is, took bombs from lara and kept coming. he was getting hurt badly, but he kept coming.

no way ishida stops him. no way. if he does you should start praying.
I believe Paul has already begun to have a slurred speach
