They would probably fight in Vegas.

Rigo needs to get some more pro fight experience and bring up his exposure.
it WAS a joke seeing as Donaire is not originally from the US but will no doubt want to fight there.

is Nishioka REALLY a big name? i'm not asking how good he is or isn't, but whilst he has experience he is not well known as far as i can see. i reckon that 99% of fans in the UK wouldn't know who he was even though one of our guys boxed him in 2010. i know of more people, over here at least, that are talking about Rigondeaux.

      No he hasn't.

WV2 is tough but not a top guy. Neither was Omar.

Montiel yes. Quick easy fight though.

Sydorenkoa good fighter but not a top guy. But another easy fight.

So a tune-up is not acceptable.

or maybe Nishioka isn't well enough known either, maybe Donaire will have to miss him out too because of it...?

do you have any idea what nonito donaire (or wilfredo vasquez jr, for that matter,) would do to rico ramos?

is it all that money rigo brings to the table?
his slam ****, top notch, best of the best 9-0 pro record (including a very rough fight with a faded ricardo cordoba,)
maybe that huge cuban fanbase he brings to all of his fights?

if he's earned this fight via something that i'm missing i'd love to hear it.

otherwise you're nominating him the best in the world at 122 over a beating of one of the softest, true paper champions of all time.
122 is a weak division. i mean dnoaire gained his title against wv2, who, sorry to tell u, isnt that highly regarded outside of his last name. rigondeaux is clearly one of the top fighters in the division tho, theres no way around that. only guy that even deserves to be ranked higher is nishioka.

He's the man at 122. Gotta beat the man to be the man.

Hopefully they can lure him to America.
that would be awesome..hopefully they can convince nishioka to fight donaire in June 16th and not have to wait until late 2012 for that fight to happen.

Hypocrite. You talk bad about Donaire getting a title against Vasquez Jr, yet you seem to highly regard Rigondeaux getting a title against Ramos.

Arum should be smart... put JCC Jr on the Pac undercard.
Mayweather got Canelo, why not put JCC Jr on Pac's? Also, he'll need the extra name power to help sales

Ramos was the Champ, Vazquez loss that belt to Arce just two fights ago...
