Lazarte: banned for life by the IBF

Luis Lazarte and Pablo Pérez (the one of his team who attacked Casimero´s corner) have been banned for life to participate in any international event of boxing, says Aníbal Miramontes, from the IBF. “Neither of them could ever attend as a boxer, manager, spectator, or any occupation related to boxing in a IBF fight”. He also said that they couldn´t identify the other aggresors, so there´s no other sanction.

Glad the IBF stepped up to the plate and took some action.

The referee ruined a beautiful knockout. At the 2nd round Coggi was already KOd and the referee did everything to not let Gonzalez finish him. He even stopped the round early. Then Coggi recovered and kO him in the late rounds. If you search it is in youtube.

a riot broke out that started with water bottle throwing and turned into chair tossing and an angry mob trying to get to and hurt the corner of the visiting fighter

a guy from lazarte's corner ran into the ring and started swinging. people from the mob evidently tried to pull the ref and members of the visiting corner out of the ring and take them away

somebody could have died. the ref and members of the corner were sent to the hospital.


lazarte is also the dirtiest modern//contemporary fighter i've ever seen.
