Donaire or Guerrero: Who will join the elite

Only two fighter have been 6 weight world champions, winning the recognised titles.

Oscar De La Hoya won titles from super feather all the way up to middleweight and Pacquiao won titles at flyweight and then super bantam all the way up to light-middle.

I think only 2 fighters out there at the moment could go on to achieve this feat and become a 6 weight world champ.

Donaire has won titles at flyweight, bantam, and super bantam, and is eying the featherweight division, and has talked about going further.

Guerrero has won title at feather and super feather, his last fight was at lightweight, which he is yet to win a title at but has talked about fights at light-welter, welter and even light-middle.

Both have the build to make those gain and carry the weight, though Guerrero might has missed his chance at a lightweight title.

But do you think either of these two fighters can join the elite of Oscar and Pacquiao and become a 6 weight world champ or will someone else manage this feat, or maybe you think this feat won't be matched again for a very long time.

Guerero is all talk and I really dont see him achieving this, while Nonito on the other hand would stay some time at 122, at this point we cant really tell if he could reach 135, to answer this question we should probabaly wait for another year and see how he does ...

Collecting worthless trinkets in different weight classes doesnt make you elite.

Fans like yourself who perpetuate that crap should find another sport to watch.

I think Donaire has the physical tools to be able to move up in weight classes and be successful but I think his technique needs a little more polish, especially when he moves up in weight where his power might become less of a factor because he'd be facing bigger guys who can take better shots. Plus I think the smaller gap between weight classes for Donaire will enable him to win more titles than Guerrero.

Guerrero looks pretty filled out at 135, I don't know how well he'd do at 140 or 147. This guy really needs to get back into the ring and fight instead of sending out press releases.

IMO Donaire is already elite. The Ghost may have the skill, but I have yet to see it.

            Yeah World titles are trinkets.

How many do you have if they are so worthless.

As well of having the skill you need the body frame to put on the weight successfully.

Guerrero looks like he could move a few divisions and could pick up titles along the way.
