I forget who said it, but it was said to the manager of Terrible Terry McGovern when he was barnstorming in the west fighting local favourites. His next opponent, from the nearby town came over to see him fight, When he saw the destruction he said.......

"Am I crazy to get killed for $100?? I already have a hndred dollars!

Ans that fight didn't get fought. teh guy actually gave up boxing, became a manager. I keep thinking it was Joe jacobs, but it probably wasn't.

I like this lines from the Hatton/Mayweather 247,Hatton was making fun of when he first met Mayweather and he was saying stuff like "Pinky on the piggy, pinky on the wrist" i was like who gives a ***** - Hatton.

and Hatton's trainer (Graham) saying "If Mayweather walk around my area with all that ***ellry he would come out naked" etc

Glad you posted this. The use of "Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean" is the best use of Explosions in the Sky in 24/7. It's the perfect ending. They are usually great, but this one is miles ahead of them. It's so good.

Hatton-Mayweather was such an event, and a pretty good fight. The boards here were crazy at the time though.

It's something along the lines of

"I told him face to face, I'll let you wrap my hands and I'll still beat you." - Margarito

The intro to Margarito VS Cotto episode one is the most intense 24/7 intro yet, I thought Marquez VS Pacquiao originally was the best intro, but Cotto and marg tops it.

                    Oh...

"**** you Alex" Pacquiao to Ariza during conditioning session on the track
