    Legendary boxing promoter Don King made the long trip to Mexico to attend a World Boxing Council celebration with the WBC's president Jose Sulaiman. King confirmed a recent report on BoxingScene.com, that he plans to pursue a fight between Ricardo Mayorga and WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

                  Really?

                  I am normally not someone who likes to express negativity towards anyone especially a boxer, because I know that becoming a boxer especially a respected boxer is no easy task. With this said I just cannot find any sense in making this fight. JCC should never take this fight, it is ridiculous if he accepts. He knows that he is under so much scrutiny in the boxing world and taking a fight like this does not help him one bit. There is so much competition in his division, I hope he understands that this fight would be a huge step back in his career, especially for his fan.

                                  anyway, i find it hard to take someone seriously when they are a big juan manuel lopez fan. and when they spell gamboa's first name as "yurkious" or however it is that you spell it.

                                      Mayorga, like Mosley takes a vacation, comes back and gets a title shot that easy, can the governing bodies do something about this.

                                      first, Chavez-Margarito, now Chavez-Mayorga. LOL
