Yeah, but given his recent antics... there's no reason to suspect anything other than a heavy Pavlik on fight night.

Actually, there's videos of him on youtube training at the Robert Garcia gym and he looks good, real good. Thin, in shape and ready for a fight in a few months.

I would love to see Chavez Jr vs Pavlik, that would be a really good fight IMO.

Robert Garcia claimed he was only 173 pounds, which is why he was considering going back to middleweight.

I saw the video.... I also read the interview he gave where he was 100% focused on getting back, and was done drinking, 2 weeks later he was back at it again.

Ill bet right now , his next fight he rehydrates to 175+lbs.

Which is exactly what he would need to do for Chavez to fight him.

The only thing he should cut off is the alcohol consumption.

If this fight ever happens in the next couple of years I'll put all my points on Pavlik.

Pavlik style and size is all wrong for Jr, he doesn't fit in the recipe they have been serving him

lol did you just say manfredo? Peter Manfredo? C'mon, dude could be 215 pounds but at the end of the day he's still manfredo.

Kelly will be between 175-180 no doubt about it. This isn't 5 years ago. This is now. And even a halfway focused Pavlik would beat Chavez.

If Pavlik comes back to 160, I actually do think he'll make the effort to make weight properly and come in around 170-173. If he goes to 168, that's another thing, but Chavez will never fight Pavlik at 168.

well I don't personally think he'll be that light, but still 170-173 that's fine by me he'll destroy chavez.
