yeah floyd's seen cotto before; through a high powered telescope because he was too scared to go near him for 3 + years untill he's badly faded.

The title is misleading and some of you jack asses didn't even bother to read the article before making a comment.

Mayweather actually says Cotto hasn't seen anything like Floyds style before.

When you are accustomed to facing guys that bring no special effects, or guys who you out-skill, it is very hard to then face a trickster. A magician.

Cotto is going to take a beating in this fight and will look really bad.

I love Miguel, and he is a true gentleman. But this is a very bad fight for him.
Which is why Bob would not allow Cotto to fight Mayweather when both where under the same TR banner (Just like Bob wouldn't allow Mayweather to fight De La Hoya).

Bottom line, it doesn't matter what year it is, Cotto doesn't have the skills or talent to beat Floyd. Nobody from 140-154 does. He just needs to move up to MW. Nothing is left for him at the lower weights where he gets zero credit for taking on easy fights (as his critics call them).

Floyd is not being challenged by taking on fighters that can easily be outboxed such as Cotto and Pac or are mentally weak such as Ortiz or too small like Hatton and JMM. It's time for Floyd to man up and take on bigger challenges vs Champions at MW. Because apparently JWW Champions, WW Champions and JMW Champions are not good enough and are all easy fights for Floyd (at least after the fact) according to the critics.

However, i'm looking forward to some serious body shots by Cotto if he can land them. Outside of that, look for Floyd to win and look good doing it. So much to the fact that people will tell Cotto to hang them up as if Cotto was Evander Holyfield fighting at the age of 50.

          Floyd has a racial jealousy

          ahlopez10082.blogspot.com

The New York Knicks point guard, Jeremy Lin, is now getting top attention not only in NBA but in the whole world where basketball is appreciated. Floyd “Money” Mayweather, who keeps on ducking Manny Pacquiao, lambasted Lin on his Tweeter account with his comment based on racial jealousy by comparing Black Americans and Asian-American in relation with achievements and praises in the Land of the Free (US).
Floyd said that "Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise."

It might be true that there are Black- American s who are good in the sports but do not receive the same praise as Lin has. However, that is not a reason for Floyd to be racially jealous against Lin in particular or the Asians in general. He should be thanful to these people to their contribution in the sports... ahlopez10082.blogspot.com

So when Floyd doesn't look as invincible and god like, like some here are claiming. Then what? He got whooped by a washed up, non skilled, punching bag? C'mon,, yall need to wake up.

This is gonna be an epic fight, regardless who wins. Floyd will bring his A game and Cotto will do the same. Those that believe that this will be a blowout, need to puff puff pass.

Floyd was preparing for Cotto when he fought bruseles...Bruseles is not exactly Cotto, but their styles are similiar.

Dude this gets me sick, they were similar back then in the fact that Bruseles is Rican and fought with a decent body punch. The dude never had half the skills Cotto had: Defense, Power, Cutting off the ring, head movement, footwork, etc. He was just a sparring partner and his pro career shows that. Cotto is a different animal all together you will see.

ALL WRONG. Money may went on ESPN and said Cotto lives too far!!! Cotto said as long as Top Rank makes the deal, we good. That is what young fighters usually do. Floyd is a ***** who thinks Cotto is easy pickens after a few losses, which is why he agreed to this fight now. The fact that Arum is out the picture only makes it easier for Cotto to get this done, Floyd BEEN HIS OWN BOSS, he's said it before. Cotto easily outboxed? By who? Papa when did that EVER happen? Pacman did not outbox Cotto at all. Cotto outboxed him for at least four rounds. All Pac did was overwhelm him, something Floyd cannot do because he lacks the power to make Cotto back down. Judah tried with speed and angles but that aint work because one Miguel finds you he hurts you. And if May tries to stay inside and slug it out he will be hurt by a Cotto shot -- this is a 154 Cotto not a 145 -- with a real trainer -- over the Margarito loss, which is why he's not going to be mentally weak -- did you see him fight with one eye vs Clottey? Don't ever compare him to razor cut on my eyebrow Ortiz.

Floyd also went on record and said Pac is next....

I get it, you're picking with your heart and not your brain. Thats cool but don't let it get you mixed up when it comes to Bob Arum.

At the end of the day there is a reason why Mosley and Bradley had to sign with Arum to fight Pac or that Cotto had to leave Arum to get Mayweather.

You can buy into the he said she said game but at the end of the day it's clear as to why Cotto is fighting Maywether now that Bob is not involved. Hell when BOTH where under the Top Rank banner Bob wouldn't even make the fight....

No Bob and we get a fight. Just like with Pac, if Bob was not involved we would have got the Mayweather vs Pac fight.

Dude, did i not say Bruseles is not exactly Cotto? If you look at the way bruseles move it's almost identical to Cotto's movements. I bet if Bruseles was more successful you wouldn't take such a defensive stand? Then again, i wouldn't put much credit in someone's opinion who is parading with a pic of Cotto, fan or not, half-naked. I take it as you have some sort of man-crush and all reasoning will be lost, so good night, for my woman is in her valentine lingerie, getting pissed right now, becausei am on the comp.
