Because calling a grown BLACK MAN a BOY has racial undertones. If you know a little bit about the racist history of this country, then you would understand that. Whites did this during and after slavery as a way of telling African-American men that they were not on the same level as they were even though they were both adult men. Mayweather is right

Mayweather is absolutely right about what he said. Because the only reason Jeremy Lin is receiving so much media praise us because he is Asian. Scoring the most points in first four starting games is not a very important or significant statistic. Black players put up record breaking stats consistently and don't become media darlings so I don't see anything wrong with what Mayweather said. And RA the Rugged Man basically just cursed Mayweather out and got real personal with him by accusing him of ducking Shane Mosley and attempting to degrade his accomplishments in the ring. He's was a hip hop Larry Merchant. And he used Ricardo Lopez as an example of a fighter that ended his career undefeated but isn't considered to be one of the best. When Mayweather mentioned the fact that Lopez is in fact considered to be one of the best fighters of his era RA the Rugged conveniently went mute then tried to change the subject. So the notion that the Rugged Man somehow bested Floyd in a boxing debate doesnt really stand up to examination. Floyd Mayweather's face didnt start appearing on KFC boxes all over the internet until the rise of the *******. And don't Filipinos actually eat dog? Mayweather having a brief phone conversation with Pacquiao while his promoter pretends that he doesn't even know who Al Haymon is and refuses to speak to Richard Schaefer is not a negotiation. It's just media fodder. And media manipulation on Bob Arum's part. Bob Arum took that little morsel and made it into a mountain that would supposedly prevent him from even talking to Mayweathers representatives. And the media followed Arum's lead as always and almost ceremonially heaped the blame on Mayweather. "Mayweather should accept the 50/50 deal!" is what they say. But I say "what deal?". Bob Arum only wants to talk to the media and won't even acknowledge Mayweather's representatives so there was never a deal or the intention of making one (from Pacquiao's promoter) in place. So you can play media spin doctor with irrelevant comments and long winded articles all you want but it won't change the fact that Pacquiao and Bob Arum never wanted this fight to happen in the first place. You're just doing Bob Arum's bidding.
