I like both boxers Pirog and Golovkin, but that is too much complaining. They are doing something wrong. Golovkin's last fight was in the ballroom of a hotel in front of maybe 100 people and he flattened the guy in a few seconds, he could have just fought someone from the audience... Dima's last fight was in Krasnodar also known as the mecca of boxing. Fellow russian boxer Lebedev at least manages to fight in Moscow against part time boxer RJJ. No one questions their abilities, but these guys do not even manage to organize a decent title defense. If either of them would be able to organize a title defense against someone like Darren Barker or Murray (or even N'Jikam), these guys would like a title, it would already be a big step ahead. Golovkin and Pirog both have a title, they should do something useful with, the big fights will come, if they use their position as beltholders correctly

Sturm won't fight golovkin. N'dam has bailed on a fight with golovkin 4 times including a few weeks ago. Pirog doesn't want none of golovkin. Gennady is not ducking anyone. He was inactive, as you say, because of his fued with universum.

Golovkin has a 2 year window to be a star. As soon as one of the other guys man up, its his time. Martinez is the only middleweight I favor against golovkin. And that fight would be a lot closer than people think

Golovkin was supposed to be the main undercard bout in front of 40,000 people for Klychko vs Mormeck before Volodymyr got injured and the fight delayed. He didn't want to postpone his bout so they had it wherever they could last minute.

N'jikam was finally being forced to unify his WBA interm belt with Golovkin but gave up his belt rather than fight him.

My point remains valid. Neither of these guys has managed to organize a decent title defense. I know Sturm is ducking them. If this N'jikam guy does not man up, then should find another opponent and start crying. They both have a title and they can't organize a fight of acceptable quality. Is it so hard to find a good opponent? They should go and fight Darren Barker, Murray etc... If Golovkin finds some bum in front of 100 people in a hotel and calls it a title defense there is no doubt he is doing something wrong. I am not questioning the skill level of Golovkin or Pirog which I think is elite. Their promotional efforts and career planning on the other hand is about as bad as it gets...
