Besides what was said wasn't THAT bad. It was an incredibly, very blunt statement but it is true. All it is is haters wanting and finding excuses to hate.

Besides compare it to other racial comments by radio talkshow hosts, and other sports media reporters and you see its not bad at all.

EDIT: I see Floyd playing his role as a bad guy, but also trolling the media and the public with this comment.
Was he playing the bad guy when he punched his ex girlfriend in front of their own kids???

This guy is just a prick, period.

he shoulda just said, jeremy lin is a testament to hard work and dedication, as is his motto, and he would've gotten plenty of respect. but that woulda taken more than 1 thought from the guy.
How could he resist not taking a swipe at lin...dude's asian... Floyd couldn't resist

But do people in China follow NBA or at least American NBA?
the Chinese tv market is the NBA's next great frontier. the cavaliers courted chinese investors in hopes of opening that market. the same way the NBA wants to open other markets. and no one is saying what lin is doing makes him a one hit wonder, but race always plays a role in how much hype a player gets. you have people saying he is on the same level as kobe(which is insane) black players do not garner as much attention because black players are expected to play at such high levels. why do you think chritian latner toured as a college player and was a rep for team usa even though the best collage player at the time was shaq. only gullible people think race has no bearing on this at all. if i were the NBA i would hype LIN up also. he will open up the asian market to the NBA and make them billions in revenue and encourage more asians to play basketball. its called marketing and there is nothing wrong with that.

Are you ****ing serious? Lets say Lin plays like this the whole season. How does 1 season put Lin on the level of Rose who has been doing what Lin is doing and more for SEASONS(you do see the plural form of the word season)? That **** makes no sense!! You basically made PBF point a few good games and you ready to put Lin on D Rose level. Thats just not possible in only 1 season.

                    • Its amazing how butt hurt people are over this. Its his opinion. He isnt the only person who feels that way I'm sure. But Lin has been a good story. Let's see if he can keep it going.
