floyd seems to be above the law and best believe that prick suliaman at the wbc will find a way for floyd to keep it. too much money for the wbc to miss out on.

The WBC will not make him vacate as his next fight is more likely to be at 147 than 154.

1 sanctioning fee per year from Mayweather is better than 4 fees from any other fighter, that's the only thing that matters here.

The most likely scenario is they hold a fight for an interim champ to pick up extra sanctioning fees and then never force Mayweather to fight the interim.

do u mean above the law in the court or above the law in boxing.... floyd is one of the few fighters these days to actually have fought elimantors, never fought a title fight at a catchweight and never fought for a vacant title.

In comparison to a lot of fighters out there I'd say his conduct re: gaining titles has been pretty good

maybe not so good defending them but after lightweight it became clear that floyd was all about taking the titles rather than keeping them

Why would they give up upon a cashcow?

yeah, doesn't make sense, and correcting myself but Aydin is #1 @ WW and holds the WBC Silver Belt, making him mandatory #1 .. although he's taken step aside $$ several times, to let previous WBC belt holder Berto take other opponents

yep Alexander sits as #2 in the rankings behind only Aydin

well the WBC already has a Silver Champion @ WW in Aydin ... and Silver Champ replaced Interim titles in the WBC if I'm not mistaken

floyd has never defended the wbc ww title against a ww, why should now be any different. sulaiman will continue to do as he always has.
