Nothing to do with disrespect, Wlad is just very very popular in Germany, and the K2 management and media always publicize the opponent into a badass, competitive motherfucker (right now they talk Mormeck into a "muscle-packed power house" who has "won all his fights at heayvweight") to the casual, non-boxing expert fans.

I'd say this is down to good marketing and reasonable ticket prices.
I'm paying £45 to see George Groves at Wembley arena for a British title fight. It's probably around £35 to see Wlad.
