Is Khan not avenging his KO loss to Prescott acceptable?

I agree it would have been foolish to accept an immediate rematch, but a true champion would avenge a loss as a matter of honour. It would have been a far better fight than McCloskey.

Not all KO losses are created equal.
When a guy blasts you out in less than 60 seconds, there aren't a whole lot of excuses NOT to rematch him. C'mon, now.

exactly. he needs to just get prescott over and done with. if hes so great and an A level fighter which he portrayed to be he should blast out prescott the way prescott blasted him within those seconds

I do think Khan should fight him at some point in his career. Maybe his first fight at 147 if Prescott wants to move up in weight too.
