Anyone picking this up thanksgiving weekend?

Hatton vs. Maussa card on saturday
The TV schedule for Saturday afternoon's big Ricky Hatton vs Carlos Maussa IBF/WBA light-welterweight title. In the co-feature cruiserweights Carl Thompson vs Frederic Serrat collide in a ten-rounder, welterweight Mathew Hatton vs Sergey Starkov in a ten-rounder and hot middleweight Mathew Macklin vs Alexei Chirkov (Russian middleweight champion) as a taped swing bout to be shown if the other two undercard bouts run short.

The Hatton vs Maussa fight at the Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield, England will be broadcast live in the United States on Pay Per View ($19.95) at 4:00pm ET. Hatton-Maussa along with the undercard matches will be available via cable systems from iN Demand & TVN and from satellite providers DirecTV & Dish Network. The broadcast is being distributed in the USA by Integrated Sports.

*I figure for only $20 dollars and you're getting at least 3 fights if not 4, should be alright. Plus i figure this main event has got to be more entertaining that Mayweather/Mitchell last weekend. Any other boxing junkies getting this?

    From *********:

Hatton-Maussa is also being presented worldwide via a live webcast ($19.95) at mediazone.com.

I may check out this webcast, because I don't think we'll get the PPV in Canada.

I got no problem with 19.95 PPV's on a dead thanksgiving weekend...I wish more promoters would look at 19.95 price tags.

U.S. fight fans rarely get to see big boxing matches from Europe live. It's also rare for U.S. fight fans to enjoy televised boxing on a Saturday afternoon. However that will change on Saturday. The IBF/WBA world jr welterweight title unification clash from Sheffield, England between Ricky Hatton and Carlos Maussa will be seen live in the U.S. on pay-per-view television and worldwide via a live webcast. In December, the Audley Harrison-Danny Williams heavyweight battle will also be made available to the U.S. market. If U.S. fight fans support these events, organizers plan to continue bringing Saturday afternoon fights.

so is it really just me and scap buying this over the weekend? that helps to figure why prices will always remain at a $40-50 price range for a boxing ppv.. even tho it might not be FOTY..

It just pisses me off how I have to pay to watch boxing now

I don't have the money to order EVERYTHING you know..

                    Hop-Taylor -$25

                    Mor-Pac - $25

                    Zab-Floyd-$50

                    Etc.
