As soon as he received confirmation that his May 5th opponent was former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley, undefeated WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo Alvarez hit the gym in Guadalajara and plans to start his hard work on Monday. Oscar De La Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions, gave the confirmation on Friday nigh to Canelo's manager, Chepo Reynoso. The fight takes place on the 5th of May at the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Sounds like both Canelo and Mosley will both be training in Big Bear. Should be interesting. Since this is billed as a double feature with Mayweather-Cotto, would be nice if HBO does a 2 part 24-7 series for this matchup.
