The Racket Squad: Canelo's Cruise To Mediocrity

As soon as some press releases stated that Kirkland and Mosely were being considered as Alvarez opponents, it was obvious that Shane was the only real consideration.
Shane wanted to quit against Mayweather.
A 21 year old Saul won't give him the opportunity to get that far.
The kid is deeply flawed but can be strong out of the gate and could end it swiftly.
It is horrific that some illustrious prizefighters must end their ring days in a dollar driven state of humiliation.
That brand of sad closure was felt by Louis, Robinson and Ali to name only a trio of greats.
It is probable that the once elegant Mosely will crumble under the weight of a two decade age difference.

Alvarez has been fighting the Kermit Cintrons and the Matthew Hattons. Trust me, Shane Mosley - even an old, well past his best Shane Mosley - is a step up.

Mosley's never been stopped and has rarely been down, and Alvarez isn't a one-punch kind of guy. This fight goes late and very likely to the cards.
