People are looking too much at his "strength". He looks strong, has a nice body still but he simply doesnt wanna fight. How did his strength help him against Mora, or Pac? He didnt land 1 good punch and just ran around. Its obvious he doesnt come to fight anymore

You can make the same argument for Holyfield to fight a Klitschko. Oh he's very strong and experienced

He can still crack and what are you talking about with Mora who Shane clearly beat and Mora who just ran from him all night even though he was the much bigger man, SSM has only lost to the best fighters in the world.

Alvarez isn't a kid,and he's not a prospect at this point,either.He has to fight the best in his division,and anyone who expects anything less isn't a fan of this sport.



Sugar Shot Mosley is just that - shot.A shot fighter with a name is still a shot fighter.Atleast Mayorga or a Margarito are capable of putting up a reasonable effort.Mosley has stunk the joint out in his last two fights.

It's funny how Shane Mosley gets a shot at the WBC Super Welterweight, being 0-2-1 in his last 3 fights. And contenders like James Kirkland, Carlos Molina, Austin Trout, Vanes Martirosyan, Erislandy Lara, Delvin Rodriguez, or even Gabriel Rosado or Demetrius Andrade, get s**t. And people say they need to work there way up to a title shot.

It's like when Lou and Sergio said Pirog has done nothing but beat Jacobs, than turn around the fight Darren Barker. It's ridiculous.

I got one better, Wilfred Benitez, he was 17 when he beat Antonio Cervantes to win the WBA World Junior Welterweight title. At age 20 he beat Carlos Palomino for the WBC Welterweight title, and at 22 he KO'd Maurice Hope for the WBC Light Midleweight title. This kid wasn't carefully brought on by his handlers and promoters like Canelo, he fought the best plain and simple. IMO Canelo is a good fighter, but at this point in his career, nothing special.
