TBH I can still hear Andrade saying to his corner "Tell me I'm the best! Tell me I'm the best!" when he was struggling with Grady Brewer (?).

I know Demetrius said he just wanted to fight and that's why he fought the type of opponent he did in Hernandez... but really, at this point, he's not doing himself any favors. Andrade shines when he's in with an obviously overmatched opponent (basically one he CAN'T lose to) but when he's in with a semi-live fighter he seems to struggle and acts insecure. He looks GREAT against beaten down no-hopers, time to see if he can look GREAT against someone who hasn't lost their last 5 fights (2 by k.o). Thinking he's gonna jump straight to the Chavezs' and top belt holders after the type of competition he's takin on since turning Pro, is a joke IMO. He needs to find a middle ground and look impressive over better quality fighters. As Teddy Atlas said, Andrade simply did what he was SUPPOSED to do Friday night. But, can he do THAT against an opponent with a better record then what he's been fighting and with more then a few days notice to give him a real fight? I have a feeling it's gonna be quite a while until we find out.

Side Note: I'm not saying the kid is without skills... he quite clearly has great fundamentals. But something tells me this kid might have some issues with insecurity. Yeah, he comes off like the opposite, but when you have to ask your corner to tell you you're the best when your faced with a descent challenge, it tells me that his confidence is probably only on the surface. I dunno, I guess we'll see.

He has talent and alot of AM experience and seems to be getting paid now to continue his Am career on ESPN but he just has the look of a fighter to me when taken into deep waters will be drowned.

I seriously doubt he is going anywhere.

Exactly what I was trying to say, but you said it in a lot less words

        I agree, Spray.

Well I am a guy after all, but lets hope he finally steps up I mean Amir Khan was already fighting for world titles at his age.
