Cotto or Mayweather: Who had a tougher three fight streak?

I don't expect a decent debate, since well, its NSB but it is a rational question. Who has had a tougher three fight streak between the two May 5th rivals?

    3 fights ago:

    Cotto v. Foreman/Mayweather v. Marquez:
-Foreman, coming off of a good win over Santos for a Jr MW title against Cotto, moving up in weight after a beatdown by Pacquaio. Foreman was projected to be too mobile, too tall and too technical for the faded Cotto. Foreman however was plagued with a chronic knee issue that was present in the fight

-JMM, coming off a decent win against Baby Bull (where is he?) in a good action fight, at lightweight, two weights below, moving up against Floyd Mayweather in the Welterweight divisions. JMM was projected to pose no threat to Floyd

    2 fights ago:

    Cotto v. Mayorga/Mayweather v. Mosley
-Mayorga, coming off a layoff against Cotto, coming off of a shoulder surgery. The fight was supposed to be a short but exciting affair. Mayorga, to the world's surprise came into the fight in shape and with the ability to throw his strong, looping and unpredictable punches. His chin still intact as well. Cotto maintained dominance over a impossibly resurgent Mayorga

-Mosley, also coming off of a layoff with the "#1 WW" status obtained by default. The fight was supposed to be a battle of speed, with Floyd comfortably taking the win, however Mosley was unable to muster up the energy for more than one hayemaker and ended up fighting like a victim of touretts. As sad end for a once great fighter. Floyd maintains dominance throughout and never in truly serious danger.

    1 fight ago:

    Cotto v. Margarito II/Mayweather v. Ortiz

-Margarito coming off of a blitzing by Pacquaio, at a seemingly comfortable weight class and eye surgery was still projected to be too tough for Cotto and cause him to take a knee. Cotto maintained discipline and put on a 9-0 clinic (8-1 if your generous). Tony maintains his amazing stamina and chin

-Ortiz, coming off an exciting win over solid champ Berto, with questions still lingering about maturity and mental fortitude. Questions answered in the Berto bout returned in the "Money" fight. Ortiz was massive however in his new weight class and was supposed to push Mayweather. Unfortunately, this fight will have be concluded as...undecided due to the unfortunate ending.

Look, anyone who knows about boxing knows Mayweather hasnt picked a legit opponent in the past 6 years. And he keeps cherry picking his way into what has become the biggest joke in sports history. Cotto is a warrior but little floyd didnt want no part of him in 2009 when he was still a beast.

Nothing there wasn't really true. Just things that was popping on NSB and what occurred.

I think Victor Ortiz overall was a great matchup and had an unfortunate ending. I also wish for a rematch, but it still doesn't change what it was.

The Mayorga was supposed to be a 4-6 round fight and he came in shape and tried to win and lasted, so that was fair and true. It was both a discredit and credit in the same break down.

Mosley fight was well, it was what happened. JMM came up two weight classes. I could discredit Foreman about the knee, and will do so to make it fair if that is the issue, although I didn't know prior to that fight that it was ever an issue

          Edit: Knee issue discussed

Bombs is in his own class

And if your able to argue that Floyd's last three fights were murderers row of fights, then I'd love to hear it. Or if they're significantly better than Cotto's, then I too would like to hear it. I think they are both about the same, which is what I voted for.

He's expected to lose, so there really shouldn't be any of those on May 6th

Its just a comparison of the last three fights they've had and who been in tougher matchups
