I think he should just retire...I mean, if he's not going to fight Pacquaio, who really is out there that is big enough fish to fry. I can't envision JMM mustering up the energy and desire to fight some young up and comer and I'd hate to see him lose to some nobody like Adrien Broner.
Man... get Guerrero... since he thinks everybody is avoiding him, take Marquez. that way you get your ****** pay day and see what you're made of. You want to fight May or Pac, then beat Marquez
..............this fight would make me happy.
Marquez ending Broner's career would definitely be entertaining.
but fighting 3 weightclasses above his weight is too much
Yups, JMM will not fight over 140, he already stated that on Golpe A Golpe on ESPN Deportes.
I was thinking about the exact same question when I saw Peterson picked Khan. I don't know, you'd think he just wants the biggest money fight available, win, and get his Pacquiao fight in November. But it seems like all the main players are taken up around 135-147. Rios vs Gamboa, Maidana-Alexander, Ortiz-Berto, Pacquiao-Bradley, Khan-Peterson, Matthysse-Soto, Garcia-Morales? Judah-Paris, etc. There's just no one of note available. It'll be interesting to see who Bob can get him.
If not, those two or Guerrero/Maidana. Morales would be a huge fight and would be a good way to go out. Lots of options. As long as it isn't Likar Ramos, I'll be tuning in.
He's not, last I heard JMM stated that he just signed with a Mexico based promoter.
Seems like TR is the only promoter that wants to set up a US gig for him. GBP and JMM left in bad terms... JMM was not happy that GBP wouldn't give him bigger fights when he was under them.
