I think GBP is doing a pretty bad job at handling Lara tbh. Inactive for so long with no fight on the horizon. At this stage he should've continued to pad up his resume, build a name for himself, while learning the ropes of pro boxing.

This is typical of Williams. He was given a gift decision but lost clearly and is going to do everything possible to avoid a rematch.
Does this sound familiar?
It should as he did the same thing to Sergio Martinez. He lost that fight, knew he lost and did everything possible to avoid the rematch with Martinez. (which is why Martinez fought Pavlik) When HBO finally forced the rematch Williams "the coward" tried to drain Martinez by forcing a catchweight for the middleweight title. Even though he and his team claimed he was the most avoided man in the ring.

Its hilarious people saying he just needs to defend against one punch and he'll be fine. He gets hit with every punch in the book.
The only punch that you've ever seen P.Will hurt by is that hook.
You know, Winky wasn't his only win. He also beat Margarito before Shane and Pacquiao. You know ... back when everyone was saying that the world was avoiding Margarito.
He also beat Sergio Martinez the first time. It was close, but Williams did win that fight.
You're trying to kill any accomplishment the man has ever made.
Based on what? We all know about the flaw. We've known about it since Quintana. You're making it seem as if the man is all hype.
The funny thing about Williams is that he's never been hype. He's had to earn his wins and make a reputation built on those wins.
However Williams turns out it has no bearing on how fast and convincingly he came up in the ranks.
Going by your statements, Paul Williams cannot win and all his attributes and skills are now useless.
That's just dumb ****. Who do you support?
Pacquiao who has been KTFO twice?
Margarito who has been KTFO and had his eye socket smashed open?
Cotto who has only one noteworthy win in his entire career?
Clottey who has never won against a world champion in his entire career?
Berto who finally stepped up and got smashed out by Ortiz?
Sergio Martinez who has 2 notable wins in his entire career and has been KTFO by Margarito?
Who among this list hasn't had their assses handed to them? Who on this list hasn't failed to live up to their own hype?
You're singling out Williams, when in truth the guy has had better wins than most of the guys mentioned above. He's definitely taken more chances than most of the guys mentioned above.
So who do you feel is so much better than Williams that you can write his entire career off?
Who are you going to name? I suspect you'll be silent about it.
As far as Winky being old and inactive, most who saw his fight against Hopkins say that he won. I am among them.
Winky didn't stop boxing because he was old. Winky stopped boxing because boxing judges are horribly corrupt. They've been fcuking that guy over ever since his fight with Harry Simon. Winky should have been a star YEARS and YEARS ago, but the judges were often the deciding factor in his losses.
Go watch his fights and see for yourself.

Let's assume Pwill's career ends after Ishida win or lose.
30 yrs from today we will look back at Winky as an all time great, can't say the same for The 'Puny'sher Williams unfortunately.

However if P.Will quits because of loss where he didn't take lots of damage, then he will have revealed himself as not having what it took to win.
That's only if he quit after a loss to Ishida.
As of right now, what you are saying is nothing but conjecture.
A win in a rematch with Martinez would instantly put him back on top.
But I'm sure most believe that can't happen despite Williams and Martinez being 1 & 1.
