Erislandy had "no fame and no glory" before he fought you the first time, Paul. So what's the real reason you won't give him a rematch? lol

Translation: Lara has my number and I will lose in again in a rematch. All he had to do was be real and people would have respected the man for that.

Williams ego is just too big. His trainer is gassing Williams up because he wants to keep eating off of him. I can't believe people used to say that Floyd was ducking this guy. Quintana out boxed him in the first fight but to Paul's credit in the rematch,he did launch Quintana out in the first. I think Martinez won the first fight too. It was close but Sergio was tagging him over and over with the same punch. Paul wasn't about to fight Martinez if it wasn't for HBO pushing him too. I thought Williams was going to beat Lara off of experience alone but dude got boxed up. He should want to rematch and set the record straight like with Quintana but since Martinez rocketed his head. Williams has been tippy toe'n on glass. Would be devastating to Paul's career if Ishida KO's him like he did Kirkland. Williams chin is wide open and Ishida was pretty accurate when his target is sitting right there with his chin out. Boxing is crazy today! No one wants to fight the best no more. All the promoters are looking for safe fights.

            Williams in no bum.

He's got a huge hole in his defensive game that was exposed, but no one has ever beaten Winky Wright as convincingly as he did. The kid just needs a better trainer and team like you suggested.

If Williams fixes his vulnerability to the hook, he'll be right back to his winning ways. We all saw that against Quintana. Then Martinez. then Lara. And like Roy Jones said as he was commentating during the Williams/Lara fight, Team Williams doesn't believe he needs to make adjustments. They just keep telling him to "fight harder".

Its bull**** and he desperately needs a more competent team, but the kid's heart and talent really aren't in question. Its his idiot trainer that sends him out to the lions with a pork chop tied to his boxing trunks.

Nah man, the fight wasn't close at all, I had the fight 117-111 and the Argentinian announcer who always give his scorecards had it 118-110. I remember that some time ago people were saying that viewers were just "following" what the HBO commentarists were saying, but I saw that fight with a completely different narration and I still saw Lara winning comfortably over Williams.

That fight was a robbery, period.

Winky Lite was old and inactive. Plus the perfect kind of style match for Williams

Its hilarious people saying he just needs to defend against one punch and he'll be fine. He gets hit with every punch in the book.
