This is what I've always thought, but man what a war we're gonna get This year in boxing is definitely shaping up nice. No more postponements, BS negotiations, just great fights coming up for few months now.

        I thought so.

Why hire the nutritionist if your not going to try and make 135 still?

Everyone says they're inches away from finalizing this fight.

First off dont call me Bombsy"!!!!!!! It is dsirespectful it makes me sound tiny and puny and i am the opposite. I am something big and important powerful..

I will jump on the bet but closer to the fight with the buzz, i dont like making bets for fights months before they take place. i still havent placed a bet for Cotto-floyd either. Will wait till fight week. Hit me back then.

honestly Gamboa beats the hell out of Rios.... its one of those things where everyone overrates Rios' chances because he weighs more but really the weight difference is not that bad at all.

The only chance Rios has is that Gamboas chin has been seen as shaky at times so his power might be able to get to Gamboa.

i'm not gonna watch the whole thing, i can't manage to listen to a whole 13minutes of ríos saying "**** you ****ing know me i ****in knock muvva****ers the **** out, y'****in know what the **** i'm ****in talking the **** about? **** yeah"
kinda gets a little boring... *actually did end up watching it.

i'll assume, maybe incorrectly (so please correct me if i'm wrong) that we're talking about his ability to make 135lbs?
well then, what was all that about getting the proper assistance- which he never had before- to help him get there without problems? that's what he and his team seem to have been saying... i dunno how garcia is such a great trainer if he can't sort out his fighter with either the right nutritional advice or hook him up with a nutritionist, not great for the guy's health.
also it probably hasn't helped him one bit that he's fat the rest of the time.

and what would be wrong with a catchweight if he really can't make 135? one of the few times using one would be valid, but he insisted on a whole nother division up so gamboa would come up THREE divisions?! after insisting he'd be happy to stay at 135lb for gamboa...

anyway anyway, totally up to him what weight he wants to be and i can respect that, it's his body. does p*ss everybody tho that he makes a big drawn out thing of saying that he can do 135lbs fine for gamboa, and yet is basically wasting everyone's time. i have to say i don't think ríos will be much good at 140 either, in general i mean.
we'll see, i get the impression off somebody else's post that maybe it's not dead and buried yet anyway. hope not
