Cottos jab is going to be his best weapon. He has a heavy jab that will lump up your face. But I think Floyd neutralizes that by fighting on the inside. With this fight being at 154 with 10 oz gloves I dont see Cotto hurting Floyd. I expect a heavy dos of Floyds shoulder roll and out thinking Cotto and landing the better shots.

Floyd walks around at 150 and Cotto is a small JrMW. Manny walks around at 142 and eats like a horse and has yet to weigh in at 147. Even weighed in at 144.5 for 150 pound fight against the 5'11" Margarito... Manny gave up 17 pounds in the ring that night... Trust me Cotto will not outweigh Floyd by more than 5 pounds fight night... So to give a guy credit to fight someone his same size is crazy... BTW, why does everyone want Manny who never even weighed 147 for a WW fight yet to fight Cotto at 154??? Why haven't these same people ask his peers, Barrera, Marquez, and Morales fight at 154 hell they don't even fight at welter. But, when it comes to hating Pacquiao why let something like facts and common sense get in the way.... Manny has yet to weigh 147 for a fight yet so why should he fight above 147??? Hasn't the man moved up enough??? In order for Floyd to make the same jumps in weight as Pac he would have to fight at 168... Just accept the fact that Floyd is bigger than Pac and that's why he can fight a small JrMW like Cotto...

No, but I do know he never fought above 147 and weighed in at 146 for most fights. He was not a 154 pounder and had never fought above 147 at the time he fought Pac. Cotto is such a small JrMW he tried to get Margarito down to 150 to defend his 154 pound title. They finally settled on 153... So we know Cotto tried to defend his 154 pound title at a catchweight. So he must be good coming in under 154 if he tried to get Margarito down to 150 without Margarito asking for a catchweight... Floyd will have height and reach over Cotto and Cotto might have 5 pounds over Floyd on fight night...

I agree with lederman for the most part, but disagree on cotto's gameplan. It would be a huge mistake imo in the first round to try and take floyd out of there. He's got to be calculated (but not too calculated), look to wear floyd down and try to take him out in the later rounds. He's gotta go to the body aswell, way more than he has in his reccent fights. Especially with floyd, whenever he gets caught hard upstairs, he brings his hands all the way up and leaves his body wide open.

Regardless of what the haters say, its gonna be a damn good fight.
