Cotto should finish Floyd by the nine round

If Cotto gets a KO victoy (which I don't think he will) it's going to be during the first rounds, maybe some punch like Mosley landed in round 2. If the fights lasts longer than 6-7 rounds I just don't see any possibility for Cotto to get a KO victory, especially since Floyd is better during the last rounds and Cotto tends to fade at the end of his fights.

I picked Mosley's combination of handspeed and power to trouble Floyd, unfortunately he just didn't have the fitness to see it through.

Cotto I feel is one of those fighters who is a better boxer than many would give him credit for, he has very good timing and Mayweather may well have made a key error with this selection.

I'm actually still surprised he took the fight and I'm looking forward to what I think will be a very even contest.

One thing for sure, Cotto is going to find success with his jab. He throw it sharp enough to make it difficult for counter-punchers to counter it. I can see this fight playing out similar like the Floyd vs Oscar/JMM fights.

Most people who get in the ring with Floyd expect to beat Floyd as they think he is overated and dont rate him. But Floyd usually suprises people. Cotto i hope has done his homework and is not making empty promises. I hope there is a reason for his belief.
