Timmy is a small fry in the ducking world, Floyd is still the big cheese.
When Tim starts asking for blood tests and going on vacation then he will be up there with the King of the Duckers
In 2006 Floyd had two options, he could fight Margarito for $8 million, who had won a vacant belt, or he could fight Baldomir for $8 million, who had defeated a legitimate champ in Judah and was recognised as the true title holder of 147.
And asking for blood tests and going on vacation is "small fry" compared to:
-Refusing to take blood tests.
-Claiming to be scared of needles.
-Forcing opponents to make catchweights.
-Forcing opponents to wear 8oz gloves in a 10oz division.
-Agreeing to take blood tests as long as they're not administered by the USADA.
-Saying that the fight can't be made because the fighter is doing jail time, yet when he delay's his jail time still refusing to fight him.
-Claiming that a 28 stitch cut takes 6 months to heal.
-Pretending to be building a special stadium which won't be ready in time for the fight.
-Insisting on a 50/50 split when just week's ago stating that they would take a smaller cut.
Plus many more I can't remember.

These people that don't give Bradley a chance obviously have never watched him fight. I hear so many people say that Tim only fight coming forward. That's just not true. His best win was against Peterson where he was sticking and moving. Tim is not great at anything? Well that's just opinion. He's undefeated against some of the best at 140. He's gotten up from a viscious knock down. He made another undefeated champion look very ordinary. He has a rare blend of skill, heart, and a great chin. He can fight on the inside as well as the outside. He already said in an interview that most of Manny's opponents stand in front of him. So why would he do the same? He's a smart fighter.
Manny makes alot of mistakes in the ring. Bradley, just like Marquez, will make him pay. Manny is a very good but very limited fighter. Any pure boxer with a good chin will give him problems. That's why he hasn't fought many skilled fighters. Manny will always have a puncher's chance. But after that, unless Tim gets caught early, Manny will get outboxed.
I see the fight starting off explosive.Tim will start out fast trying to get Manny's respect. I can even envision Tim getting caught with one of Manny's hard short shots and getting dropped. But like a true champion, Bradley will get up and adapt. He will make the fight boring by staying away and picking his shots. By the 10th round, his youth will start playing a major role. I think his attacks to the body and making Manny use his legs a lot will eventually start wearing Manny down. I think he will actually hurt Manny in the 11th but not be able to finish him. The 12th will be a toe to toe battle with the crowd going crazy. Manny gets hurt again and is getting ****** on the ropes when the final bell rings bringing the fight to an end. Timothy Bradley wins by a close disputed split decision and gets the upset.
That's one way the fight could go, or FOR WHATEVER REASON, Tim stinks out the joint like Clottey and Mosley did.

This is for those that are questioning why cotto gets a shot to fight floyd. It's very simple "The Interest of people seeing the fight as in the draw". Money is a major issue when it comes to floyd fighting a opponent. I believe that the pacquiao vs bradley fight will turn out like the pacquiao vs clottey fight. The fight will be fixed where both fighters will be instructed to make the fight look competitive and pacquiao will come out the winner. The reason i say this is look who has the controling stock of both fighters and they are fighting in a venue he built. Bob Arum needs pacquiao to win to keep the money rolling in. If manny loses then you won't have a pacquiao vs mayweather fight ever. This is why i'm boycotting top stank.

That's sporting impartiality for you! Good for a laugh anyway.

sheeeeeesh... so many factual errors. you're worse than sith lord bob.
1. manny never had problems with taking blood tests. the only issue then was the proximity of the tests to the fight and BOTH camps already confirmed that the blood test is no longer an issue.
2. manny NEVER claimed to be afraid of needles. unless you've actually never seen manny fight, you would notice that he's got tattoos everywhere. (common sense man!)
3. why do you people act like manny invented catchweights? ATGs have been using it, current elite fighters are using it, FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR., fought at catchweight. COTTO demanded to fight at a catchweight. if both fighters agree to fight at catchweight, then IT ISN'T AN ISSUE. Kapisch?
4. regarding the gloves issue and similar to catchweights, it depends on what both fighters agree on. if both agree on a particular glove size, then why fault one fighter when BOTH agreed on it?
5. everything else, except the smaller cut, it was BOB ARUM who said those things, and NOT manny.
6. manny DID agree to a smaller cut. he offered a 55/45 split, with the bigger purse going to the winner. floyd refused.
