Hatton does deserves a title shot, no question about it.
Mitchell was his IBF mandatory so he still fought a mandatory.

The WBC put Branco as his mandatory, Tszyu knew that guy wasnt good enough to share a ring so i'd expect him to choose the Mitchell fight and give up the WBCorrupt belt.

So, is Hatton good enough for Tzsyu to fight him, given that he has a looming GREAT fight with DLH? Is he better than DLH? Has he achieved more than DLH?

I think Tzsyu should fight DLH first and then fight Floyd, Hatton, or Gatti after that.

I wish Hutton would stop running and KT would finally kick his ass so this crap would stop coming out of all Hutton's fans mouths.

To answer your question, yes he's definitly good enough for Tszyu to fight him.

The big fight with De La Hoya would make financial sense, it would be a big part of his legacy, but when has DLH fought a mega fight without taking a warm up first?? especially at new weight and after a loss!!

If i were Tszyu and i had the choice between DLH or Hatton i would take the DLH fight evertime, but if i were Tszyu at this moment in time i'd take the Hatton(and the $5mil) whilst waiting for the DLH fight.

If all goes well for Tszyu he could make $15-20mil in 2005, with more than enough legacy and money to retire with.

The only running Hatton is doing is running after Tszyu, if you listened to the promoter, fighters and managers you would know Tszyu is the one who's unsure about the fight.

Tsyzu's one of my favourite fighters and i never thought i'd want him to get beat so much!! Its the only way to stop all this crap coming from Hatton haters mouths!!

If you dont like reading comments from Hatton fans then find a thread that doesnt involve him!!

I wanna see see Tszyu back in the ring ASAP. Promoters just need to give Tszyu a little more love and I'm confident the fignt will happen. Frank Warrewn and the boys across the pond just need to understand Hatton needs the fight a lot more than Tszyu does and paid the Aussie accordingly.

I am certainly not a Hatton hater. He may be a GOAT contender but with Warren calling the shots we may never know.
There is nothing in Zu's history to suggest cowardice, that's for sure!
                Look...it's simple.
Lance Armstrong couldn't crow about being the best cyclist in the world and then refuse to prove it in France.
If you are to be respected as a world-class champion in boxing, you hafta to ply your trade in the U.S.A. often.
I'm not saying that that is good or bad. I AM saying that it's a fact!

Nobody is scared of Ricky Hatton. Sharmba Mitchell challenged Hatton on live TV and Hatton backed out once the camera was off. At that time Mitchell was the interm IBF champion, and the interm champ by IBF law has an automatic shot at the champ once he can fight.

If Hatton would have fought Mitchell he could have had a shot at the interm title there by having an automatic shot at the real title. Also, the interm champion is automatically intitled to 45% of the purse against the real champ, now Hatton is only a contender and only in position to get 25% of the purse.

If Hatton would have fought Mitchell he could have earned respect, and would have been in position to force a fight with Tszyu that he was intitled to nearly half the purse. But like a classic coward Hatton backed out of the fight with Mitchell even though he had everything to gain, and than he backed out of his fight Harris, and now looks to be backing out of a fight with Cotto.

Now he'll only fight Tszyu if it's in Manchester? What world is Hatton living in if he thinks champions fly half way around the world to defend their title in the challenger's back yard. People try to blame Frank Warren but the fact is Warren and Hatton are thick as theives and have no real intentions of making competitive fights. They just want to ride the gravy train as far as it will take them.

Once Hatton's sorry ass gets KO'd I doubt we'll ever see him again. Than again he might just fight 38 more bums until another sanctioning body is ****** enough to rank him number 1.

                  That is just my opinion.

I think Kostya is much better off fighting De La Hoya in an epic dream battle.

This is Hatton who should go to Australia, PERIOD. Hatton is the ONE who has to prove that he is not a COWARD and can fight outside his home arena.

Kostya does not have to prove anything to lamers like you and your home-grown broilers.

                      You are right.
