i think its best to wait and see how he performs against floyd....

THEN make a conclusion about him. a warrior like him deserves the benefit of the doubt don't you think?

why the fuuukk are these fans still trying to make cotto into someone "new" just to make the fight legit with floyd after they've been going around calling cotto shots for years.

i think he meant elite as in cotto's better days are over. sure cotto can still **** and will win here and there but the point he was making is that cotto is not the same cotto he was years ago.

you may be right about that, considering the amount of punishment he's received throughout the years.

but i believe that Cotto still has the capacity to go toe to toe with the best of them.

            Be honest people.

When's the last time Cotto broke down anyone the way he did Judah?

its just funny to read some of these comments, making cotto out to be a new cotto just because floyd is fighting him at 154, saying cotto is a better cotto at 154 but his last fight wasnt even at 154 LOL!!

He meant as far as today goes. He hasn't fought at 147 since 2009 and has had 3 fights at 154 already. During and after the fight he stated several times he physically had no problems with 145 (then), but being he can call his own shots now there was no need for him to give any advantage to Manny.

I've always wonder if trolls get paid for doing what they do all over the internet. It seems like good business.

I totally disagree with the OP's arguement. Cotto is a little dude, what, 5'6" or something, he has been carefully matched at 154 but he looked good at 147 and even 140... He probably had his prime years at 147 until he met a better fighter in Pacquaio, there's no shame in that, he lost to a better guy. Did the 2 pounds loss (CW of 145) affect the outcome of the fight - I don't think so. Miguel would have got beat comprehensively at any weight.
