With a deal falling through for a domestic showdown with Joan Guzman, junior welterweight Victor Cayo (27-2, 19KOs) has reportedly agreed to fight former champion Nate Campbell (33-7-1, 25KOs) on March 24th in Santo Domingo. In 2008, Guzman had actually been scheduled to face Campbell in Missippi for the lightweight titles, but Guzman was unable to make the weight and the fight was cancelled due to health issues on the day of the contest.
