Hard to say. There are better fighters than Martinez active but, on a list based more on what have you done for me lately, the lowest I could rank him is #3.
Which of these boxers are higher than Martinez on the P4P list?

Marquez isn't a question, I'd argue a person is flat out wrong to rank him below Martinez. I'd put Ward and Donaire above him as well.Comment

JMM lost the fight plain and simple. Pacquiao threw more punches than marquez and landed more punches on marquez. You cant claim robbery when the defending champion and arguably the biggest star in the sport out threw and outlanded you. Not to mention marquez face was a wreck compared to pacquiao.
Those are facts, not opinion. Marquez lost and is 0-2-1 against Pacquiao and if burt clements (who later admitted he made the scoring error) properly scored the first round of the first fight he would be 0-3.
End of the day, marquez lost and other fighters in the p4p rankings won. You cant reward a fighter who lost to the detriment of other fighters in the p4p ranks who won.
Ring Magazine has marquez properly rated at #6.Comment

From the list, I chose Donaire, Wlad, Marquez, Ward and Other (Vitali, Gamboa).
My list would look like this:
1. Floyd Mayweather Jr
2. Juan Manuel Marquez
3. Manny Pacquiao
4. Wladimir Klitschko
5. Andre Ward
6. Nonito Donaire
7. Vitali Klitschko
8. Yuriorkis Gamboa
9. Sergio Martinez
10. Guillermo RigondeauxComment

What do records have to do with anything? It's a list of who you think are the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world today, not who has the most impressive record. If records mean so much to you, check out Rigondeaux's amateur stats. As for Marquez, he beat Pacquiao twice IMO. I couldn't care less about Compubox numbers, I saw the fight with my own eyes and Pacquiao got outboxed. JMM proved himself to be the superior fighter and deserves #2 as far as I'm concerned.
Oh and just to clear this up, there are no 'proper' ratings when it comes to P4P, it's all merely opinion.Comment
