The only thing I like about Alexander is his trainer. But I have this wierd feeling that Maidanas gonna get Urango'd. I hope im wrong but I have this crasy feeling that after Floyd and Manny Devin is the future of boxing. God help us all.

Do a # meaning.....??? He's not putting Maidana on the floor, and he's definitely not knocking him out. We already know Maidana can be out-boxed, that's a given, but when he's 100% physically and mentally prepared, he's tough as nails. If Devon does not gain his respect early, Alexander is the one who's gonna be on the back-foot trying to not get hit by Chino's overhand right. Alexander by decision, cuz of all the circumstances. 10 round fight in STL means Chino is gonna have to go for the throat on this one.

though why that would ever happen, i have no clue. sure, devon alexander's style is "flashy" and "action packed" at a glance because of the speed and the grunting but, it's not special... at all. nothing, absolutely nothing, in his arsenal or persona is memorable, spectacular, or even remotely interesting. the entire alexander package is mediocre and at best completely fraudulent. i'm sure the people in st.louis come to see him because their kids will be entertained by his mickey mouse voice or something. good luck selling that crap on PPV however.

Lol! That's a little harsh man. I don't think he's the future of boxing either but he's got a good story! Over come some tough surroundings and he's a great role model for he youth in that city! He's a good fighter, just not great but he gets my respect because unlike some young fighters that seem to only want to take on the easiest fights available. He's putting together a really impressive run of fights! They weren't that exciting and he could have performed better! But bottom line is he signed to fight and got in the ring. Wish a lot of other fighters would follow his lead

i was feelin' the hate man. but yeah, good point. getting in the ring with kotelnik, bradley, matthysse, and now maidana back to back is a highly commendable effort by alexander! huge respect for him in that regard, can't take that away from him.

As much as I like Maidana I think he loses this one. Keep in mind is only a 10 rd. fight in Devons Hometown. I also think Devon should be able to outwork him look flashier and faster in the eyes of the judges also and he def. will not get into exchanging with Maidana because will get KTFO!

Yeah fighting them 4 back to back is commendable but he robbed Kotelnik, was lucky to get a decision against Lucas, will prob rob Maidana if he doesn't get knocked out. And put in a disgraceful performance vs Bradley in which he actually quit.

He knew he was going to win 2 (3 if you count the Maidana fight coming up) of them if it went the distance in his hometown so it makes it less commendable that he took these fights.

                      War Maidana.
