Thats wierd I was watching the fight he had a couple days ago and I thought he was really stuck up when he won. Didnt really go over to the other fighter and pay respect but just posed for the camera.

I just noticed Birmingham...is his trainer now he is a good trainer not to say you were not but he seems to be in good hands since he trains..Winky,Lacy and Taylor and others.

I was the only person to pick Allan Green to beat Jaidon yet I get slack for picking Pemberton..

Being totally honest and 100 percent real..I do not for one second think there is ANYTHING that Dan Birmigham knows about boxing that I don't but I can certainly know things he can't due to my in ring experience. He trains two very good fighters, of course, but there are trainers out here that you never heard of and maybe never will for whatever reason that are VERY SHARP boxing minds and have as much boxing knowledge or more than some of the people that get 'trainer of the year awards.' Having a powerful PROMOTER behind a fighter can go a long way towards making a trainer look good. I am not saying anything against Dan, I am just making a point. Dawson didn't leave me by choice...when he left his manager and promoter a few months ago he asked me to keep training him... but his manager that he was in the process of leaving pays the rent at my gym and Chad stayed at his house when he came to train... so obviously the new situation wouldn't call for Chad and I to be able to keep working together. Thats the BUSINESS of boxing, unfortunately
