I think he makes a good point. I'd add Nacho Bertistain to that list as well. He's developed a number of fighters over the past few decades behind fundamentals and well taught skills. He has taken on some less quality fighters recently like Angluo, however he works with the youth in Mexico, building champions from the ground up.
seems a bit prejudiced to me especially with no mention of Marquez and Nacho
also while I do believe Roach to be overrated for him to say that he inherits fighters taught by true teachers that's simply false. To say hasn't taught Pacquiao to essentially be the fighter he is today is only used to boost his article when I think it's safe to say Manny is a totally different guy from the fighter that walked into Wild Card
