Not in the near future, because that obviously isn't happening, but a lot of people couldn't envision MLB implimenting random year round testing either, and they have.

It's scary to imagine how many big name boxers, as well as small name fighters, are probably on PED's. When it was suspected in Baseball, from the late 80's into the early 00's, there have been tons of players that have been proven steroid users. We have had some in boxing as well, most notably Roy Jones and Shane Mosley, but it's naive to think those were the only 2 really big name fighters that have been on PED's. In 2003, 104 MLB players tested positive for PED's, and some think that number is low. There were numerous big names on that list, as anyone could go look that list up right now. I'd say boxing, we are like where MLB was in the 90's......Suspecting certain players of drug use but far from having a system of drug testing for the sport to catch everyone, which is what MLB has now.

It's scary to imagine how many big name boxers are currently on PED's, who ever they are. But, I truly do believe the boxers that have spokne out and said they know PED's are ramptant in boxing, and it's naive to think they aren't.

Do you think boxing will ever get random testing throughout training camps up until fight day, for all notable fights????

Absolutey. We will have top of line testing in boxing in the next 5-10 years.

Maybe. Not right now or in the near future, but maybe 15-20 years from now.

    Yes.

JCC JR has come out in favor of OSDT. The rest will follow.

I hope so. I mean, each states boxing commissions hould get on board, as well as Foreign countries. Impliment Random testing throughout training leading up until the day of the fight, and another blood and urine test right after the fight.

It would stop as many from using PED's. Obviously there would be some that would still try, like MLB MVP Ryan Braun who tested postitive this past year, but you would pretty much catch everyone who is.

I don't know, I hope it happens but I don't think it will. Boxing is and has been a very corrupt sport from a long time ago and I don't see that changing.
I didn't know that in Texas they didn't do PEDs testing, not even urine tests, and that made me think about how many could have used steroids for their fights without being caught. It makes me sad to think that maybe most of our favorite boxers have used PEDs sometime in their careers.

One of my favorites did, Roy Jones Jr. And while I still love Roy Jones, and think he's one of the GOAT to step in the ring and maybe one of the most skilled ever, NO ONE KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES HE USED PED's, even though he tested positive only once.
