It's time for Wlad to make some videos.

he doesn't even have to make a new one for Povietkin, he can just edit this one and change the word ''David'' for ''Alexander'' or ''Sasha'' and it still works perfectly.

Running your mouth is perhaps the best way to get a fight, even when youre the champ and youre the one being ducked

BUM. Unless he can beat Haye on an even playing field, Wladi***** is nothing. Same with his steroid junkie brother.

Why? Because the Klitschkos have beaten everyone? Some logic you have there.

What has happened to you, you once were a quality poster judging the K's and their abilities fair and now you've suddenly jumped over to the blind Klitschko hating camp. What a pity.

That vid didn't really do much in the end to entice David out, but I agree, getting in a fighter's face and hustling for them to sign that contract can sometimes be the best way, especially when the fighter is a scared little rabbit called Alexander Povetkin.

No, because in your words "Thompson is as good as any other fight." Thompson therefore becomes the benchmark for the division. And he's awful.

Nothing happened to me. I've never been a blind hater or a blind nuthugger of anyone, and if Wlad takes on another quality opponent (like he has in the past in Ibragimov, Chambers, Byrd, Haye, Chagaev etc) then I'll defend him from anoyone that seeks to belittle him or his choice of opponent. I'm not going to defend him fighting Mormeck and Thompson though.

Also, I haven't said a bad word about Wlad in this entire thread, skill-wise. My problem is entirely with his choice of opponents.

Pulev's alright but is still more or less an up and comer, not a bonafide world title challenger. Is this really representative of the top ten heavyweights in the world? Hell, I'd pick Mitchell or Stiverne to beat Dimitrenko tomorrow, and Chisora already beat Helenius.
I've got to be fair to Helenius: he fought with a bad right shoulder and a bad right hand (injured early in the fight). He probably should have called off the fight, and had since had a shoulder operation that could end his career.

Even with all that, he still almost stopped Chisora in round one, by Del Boy's own admission.

You're damned if you do, and damned if you don't, when it comes to boxing.
