Based on what? Just a matter of opinion. Sure I don't give Mormeck fight much credit but Thompson is not as bad as people make him out to be. He's not top 10 anymore but why does Wlad have to pay the price for mandatory/no one wanting to fight him?

Based on two things:

1. That he was a legitimate heavyweight with legitimate heavyweight wins, which Mormeck is not.

2. That he wasn't completely awful like Thompson is.

Based on two things:

1. That he was a legitimate heavyweight with legitimate heavyweight wins, which Mormeck is not.

2. That he wasn't completely awful like Thompson is.

Thompson gave Wlad the toughest fight he's had during his winning streak. Cut him and landed some solid shots on the chin.

He's a mandatory anyway -- it was gonna be him or Eddie Chambers, and he's got a better chance than Chambers would have.
